Another new single malt distillery and another stop in the Lowlands. After Glaosgow’s Clydeside and Glasgow Distillery, it is time to head to the Kingdom of Fyfe. Away to Kingsbarns specifically to review their now-discontinued Dream to Dram. Why review a discontinued whisky you may ask?
I continue my exploration of new distilleries with The Glasgow Distillery. I have three of their Glasgow 1770 Small Batch Series in review today: the 2024 Unepeated Tokaji finish, the 2023 “Unpeated” Manzanilla cask Finish and 2022’s Red Wine Peated and Ruby Port triple distilled vatting.
With so many new distilleries releasing their products on the market, it is time to dedicate my next reviews to the New Malts on the Block, starting today with my review of the Clydeside Distillery Napier, a 6 year old Lowlands single malt fully aged in Oloroso Sherry Casks
After Glasgow, and Clydeside Distillery, my next Scotland stop was the Isle of Arran. Often referred to as Scotland in Miniature, it is also a great whisky destination with two distilleries easily reachable from the main port of Brodick. Today am taking you on the Lagg Distillery tour.
